STRIPERS, BLUES, BLACKS, PORGIES AND FLUKE - Unquestionably the hardest fighting fish in the Sound, Bluefish (also known as choppers) are an absolute blast! The combination of their razor sharp teeth and vicious attitude give them the reputation of being "the piranhas of the sea". Their feeding frenzies oftentimes leave a "slick" on the waters surface, as these fish eat so much they will actually regurgitate and CONTINUE EATING! If anglers are looking for a real tug-o-war challenge, this is it. These fish travel in packs so the action is fast and furious, sometimes catching as many as 75 in one outing. --It is well known that striped bass primarily feed around the times of sunup and sundown; however, they are often caught during the day with bluefish as they share common forage and fishing techniques. Many trophies are caught during the day, especially during the spring and fall migration. Blackfish, Porgies and Fluke and black seabass are also common catches, and all make excellent table fare.

TROPHY STRIPED BASS -- Mon-Fri 4am-9am & 5pm-10pm $550 --- Striped bass are the absolute KING of Long Island Sound. As New Englands most popular gamefish, they can grow in excess of 60 lbs! Get ready for a good fight because these fish fight hard and stay deep, making long runs before they come to the surface. With thick white fillets, they also make excellent table fare. They feed most aggressively around the times of sunup and sundown.
LONG ISLAND FLUKE and STRIPED BASS -- 6am-1pm $850 ---Attention Flounder Pounders! ---We travel to Long Island to catch one of the oceans best eating fish -the summer flounder. The flounder (or fluke as they’re commonly called) arrive in large numbers during May. With their firm white meat and voracious appetites they are a favorite among fisherman. "Flounder Pounders" or "Fluke Junkies" are out in great numbers on the weekends so weekday trips are highly recommended. --While traveling to and from the flounder grounds we will be passing over prime striped bass territory. Wetting a line in some of these well known locations, (Orient Point, Plum Gut, and the Ruins) cannot be resisted. It is also not uncommon to catch a trophy striped bass while fluke fishing, especially in the spring, as these fish are chasing the same forage…squid.
FULL DAY-MIXED BAG -- $950-- 6am-3pm-- Want to catch A LOT OF FISH? This trip is for you! We target stripers, blues, fluke and scup. Scup are another excellent eating fish, and children love them especially as they can catch hundreds in a day. Black sea bass and blackfish are also welcome surprises. If conditions permit we will also cook your fresh fish for you, right on the boat!
SHARK FISHING -- $2350-- -- 4am-8pm-- Ever see Jaws? This trip is it! The blood and guts, the gigantic rods and reels, harpoons, gaffs.--- Bluefish, we use them for bait!--- Catch the oceans top A-Pex predator. **Times can be adjusted to suit your needs.
